I'd never had taquitos "ahogados" or "drowned" in seasoned soupy broth until I visited Culiacán, Sinaloa. They are the most comforting taquitos you will ever try! My take at home has a hearty shredded beef, potato, and refried bean filling, and they are doused in a delicious, spiced up beef broth.
