Details

Artists are sometimes inspired by details in their surroundings. The Boyle Family used paint and resin combined with stones, dust and twigs to create large-scale details from the landscape. Robert Cottingham painted Photorealistic details of neon signs and shop fronts. Some of the photographs of Aaron Siskind and the paintings of Geoff Yeomans show details of decayed paintwork and rusty metal. Ian Murphy produces meticulous studies of details from old buildings.
