It's 1998. Heather, a young, ambitious punk director wants to get into a movie academy. She decides to make a horror movie about a ghost. Then one day, she accidentally summons a ghost in her room, the oppressed Victoria, who lived in a strict household and can't let go off the past. the girls decide to make a movie together, and learn things about grief, acceptance and friendship.
