Color study for an apple blossom. Reckoned with the pickle that is painting a white flower (my first attempt was the blob below); discovered that WN Davy's Gray was too opaque and occasionally granulating for my tastes and has reported lightfastness issues (!!!); my Daniel Smith dark green mix had some weird pilling re its binder. At least: Found some PV19s from Sennelier that were lovely to work with—no need for the horribly impermanent Opera. Lost some detail here with the green hiccup…
