Love the bold geometry of the rug, and the colors, against the softer white-upholstered seating and the glass coffee table. I'm not sure I'd layer it over another rug, though, however neutral.

The minute architectural details aren't complicated or pricey; instead, they are the simple touches that manage to provide the finishing elements that effectively tie a room together. Without these embellishments, a room can still look fine, but it almost seems as if it’s a bit bland or that something is missing.
