Often times ankle sprains linger for a long time because the ankle never regains full strength. 🙋Here are some exercises I like to use in the mid stages of rehabbing ankle sprains. You’ll notice they include strength, balance and plyometric exercises. 🧠𝐋𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐞𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐡 𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐨𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐨𝐧𝐞? 𝗜 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗖𝗟 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝗹𝗹 𝗳𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗖𝗟/𝘀? Dr. James Chung | Sports Performance Physical Therapist on Instagram: "Don’t make your ankle work harder than it needs to. When I often encounter an ankle injury, stability is one of the most challenging qualities to recover. I’m not cueing myself to do anything whatsoever at the foot. It’s just coming along for the ride. Now think about all the single-leg work you do to improve your stability… Where do you think the motion comes from if it’s not happening at the knee? Having good independence between the ankle and knee makes it easier to coordinate them together when you begin to challeng Yoga For Knee Injuries, Active Stretches, Torn Ligament In Ankle, Ankle Rehab Exercises, Stretches For Knees, Ankle Anatomy, Ankle Strengthening Exercises, Plantar Fascitis, Knee Care
