Use low-prep writing crafts to get students excited about writing and showcase everything they have learned.

This year I wanted to begin promoting kindness from the very beginning of the year. I searched this summer for the perfect book and I found it. A Little Spot of Kindness written by Diane Alber was just what I needed to create kindness activities for my room, and set the stage for an amazing year.

Raising young children to be fine adults is one huge responsibility. This being said, educating them not only on the core subjects but also on life values is highly important. Teaching kindness to kids goes a long way, and these awesome crafts are an excellent way to start.
