In set 31036, Toy & Grocery shop, a door is placed at an angle (see step 23 in the instructions for the primary model). How did they make the angle? It's not a 3-4-5 triangle. In Step A we see that a 2x4 can be placed on a grid of studs in two ways. This is because the two diagonals between the corner studs are of equal length.
