Using a mixture of wooden off cuts, branches and stepping stones we created a quarry in the mud pit. The Educator and children created a parking space, added pot plants for trees and roads lined with wood. The children created a river by digging out the mud and added a bridge. Lots of loose parts were available for the children to create and explore in this natural environment.
