This is part 1 and part 2 will be the wall light hack coming in a couple of days Here are a few extra tips I couldn’t get in the voiceover, inspired by the wall panelling guide from @bandq_uk! To work out even spacing I find drawing it out easiest! Roughly lay up against your wall how many panels you want. And then sketch it. Each panel strip is 10cm. So for me wall width was 310cm. I had 7 panels (10cm each) = 70cm. On my drawing this left me with 6 spaces between each panel. So 310-70= 240cm . 240cm/6 spaces = 40cm even gap between each panel piece. AD| I am over the moon with my little glow up in here! It’s taken this view from a 7 to a 10!

As you can tell from the outfit changes, this was done over the course of a week whenever we had a chance, and how I haven’t got small people in all of my footage is a miracle as they were running around the whole time! 😂

Anyway, below is step by step what I did and what I used. I got everything from @bandq_uk and spent about £150 in total!

1. Add base strips along the top of the skirting board. I bought a sheet of mdf (9mm thick) and had it cut into longer strips so that I’d have only one join along this section of the panelling- less joins, less to caulk! B&Q cut these for you to your requirements for free!
