Kristin Mundy | doula on Instagram: "we are currently on our second trip with our 5 month old ☀️ i am by no means an expert on baby travel, but i thought i’d share a few lessons we learned right away. 1) wait to board plane. i know they seat families with children first, but for us — boarding first meant we had a fussy baby by take off. waiting to board meant way less sitting around for our fomo baby 2) feed during take off and descent (not landing) — it helps pop their ears. some airlines wont let you hold baby low at takeoff, so try the koala hold or even a soother. 3) have a plan for dirty toys! all you need is to end up having nothing clean for baby to play with and you aren’t even close to landing 😳 we found a large ziplock bag worked to store them in, and we brought a little bot Traveling With A 4 Month Old, Baby On Plane, 5 Month Old, First Plane, Plane Ride, 6 Month Old Baby, Baby Travel, 4 Month Olds, Ziplock Bag
