Root Depth for Raised beds
When it comes to raised beds, the depth of the roots of your plants is a crucial consideration. The root depth required will vary depending on the types of plants you are growing in your raised bed. Some shallow-rooted plants may only need a few inches of soil, while others, like carrots or tomatoes, will require deeper soil to grow properly. Having adequate root depth allows plants to establish a strong root system, leading to healthier and more productive plants.
