That “staining” you see is actually called crazing, which happens when the glaze on the china forms tiny cracks due to age or firing issues. But don’t worry! I’ve found a simple method to minimize or even get rid of it completely: 1️⃣ Soak your piece in hydrogen peroxide (available at any pharmacy or grocery store) for at least a day. The longer, the better! 2️⃣ After soaking, pour off the hydrogen peroxide and place your china in a cold oven. This is key—you don’t want to accidentally break it by putting it in a hot oven. 3️⃣ Set the oven to 250°F and leave the piece in for an hour. Once you take it out, the crazing will bead up, and you can wipe it clean. Repeat as needed until the crazing
