Melt quenching method was used to synthesize the superionic conducting glasses (Ag2S)x(LiPO3)1-x with x = 0, 0.3, and 0.5 by using LiPO3 andAg2S. X-ray diffraction showed that LiPO3 (x = 0, LSX 00) (Ag2S)0.3(LiPO3)0.7, (LSX 03) and (Ag2S)0.5(LiPO3)0.5 (LSX 05) have amorphous structure. Thermal data measured by DSC showed that the glass transition temperature decreases from 149oC for x = 0 (LSX 00) to 147oC for x = 0.5 (LSX 05). SEM photo of LiPO3 showed smooth surface without grain, while for (Ag2S)0.3(LiPO3)0.7-C (LSX 03 C) and (Ag2S)0.5(LiPO3)0.5-C (LSX 05 C), theAg2S grain that dissolved in LiPO3matrix is shown. Increasing ofAg2S in LiPO3 glass consistently increased the conductivity of (Ag2S)x(LiPO3)1-x superionic. The milling ofAg2S could also increase the conductivity of (Ag2S)x(LiPO3)1-x superionic, in which the conductivity of (Ag2S)0.5(LiPO3)0.5 superionic increased from 2.5 x 10-3 S/...

Factors due to project delays consist of many things that can cause project delays. This study aims to find a top ten similarity factor that causes delays in a construction projects based on the results of research in Jakarta construction projects against previous studies in other countries. From a total of 100 distributed questionnaires, 88 (88%) were filled in correctly and returned as data analysis material. The Data from the survey results were analyzed using Statistical Software Package (SPSS) to produce a ranking for Project Delay Factor. The ranking of the study was then re-analyzed based on the similarity of the previous research so that the similar Project Delay Factor Ranking was obtained.

Ye... more Roadway capacity is often calculated with consideration mainly on roadway physical conditions. Yet, the current driver factor contributes on roadway capacity calculation, particularly aggressive driving behavior. To identify the significance of the driver factors particularly driving behavior plays a role in capacity calculation, several parameters should be measured correctly. The result from measured parameters related to driving behavior is then analyzed further to determine roadway capacity and compare it with theoretical road capacity. The paper will provide a tool to identify the driving behavior characteristic in specified road segment by listing sets of questions gathered from literature study for the respondents (driver on the specified road segment) and conducting initial survey to test the validity and reliability of questionnaire using CVI Index and Alpha Cronbach's Method respectively. The test shows that CVI Index is 1.0 and scored 0.821 on Alpha Cronbach's scale hence the developed questionnaire is both valid and reliable, and ready to launch in field survey.

However, the approaches of investigation were mostly completed through experiment and it required not only time but also cost. This paper aimed at predicting the condition of indoor air quality through artificial neural network. It was carried out by using the historical data from five days measurement consecutively, in which the measurement took eight hours per day by using Yes Plus LGA Meter to capture the existing CO2. Once the measurement was completely done, then it was used to predict the further condition of indoor air quality through artificial neural network approaches. The results indicate a strong relation between input data and target data used to predict further condition of indoor air quality. Additionally, the use of Levenberg-Method to conduct artificial neural network also demonstrates good correlation between input data and target data. Finally, it can be concluded that beside the preparation of input data, the selection of training method has significant impact on the result of the data prediction.

This appreciation comes in effect mostly on the perceptual respond of consumer and/or users toward object through their visual senses. Thus, consumer/users can be easily swayed by 'visual appearances' of similar object without knowingly aware of their 'actual' differences. It is understandable to see phony designed objects in the market, trying to expose 'similarity' to those of original ones. Without proper training and qualification in design area, one cannot easily differentiate which one is the 'original' and which one is not. Unfortunately, this happens in the investigative process of intellectual property rights-more specific in Design Rights protection-in Indonesia, where perceived similarity of object is-by most-defined and acknowledged subjectively through the eye of examiners. As results, objective examination of registering designed objects can be questioned and objected. Thus, a systematic investigation to identify and to evaluate perceived similarity of designed object is in needed and should provide supportive tools for the Design Rights examination process. To address this issue, the present study looks into the concept of perceived matching-similarity of object using comparative assessment toward objects' similarity on 2 (two) phases of study. On the first phase, subjects were asked to rate the similarity of objects between examined stimuli and referent object, using 3-point scales (1=most likely similar; 2=likely similar, and 3=most likely similar). On the second phase, perceived similar objects were examined for their identifiable elements on similarity. Results indicate that (1) identifying and matching similarity of objects can be determined by examining the perceived similarity rating. Its significance results can be exercised as an objective and logical examination of objects for the purpose of design rights protection; (2) perceived similarity of objects is mostly influenced by the overall appearances and contours, and therefore, one may have to be aware to the overall presentation of object when the process of examining similarity is conducted.

Since the discovery of ionic conductivity in glass systems a few decades ago, the research and development on the ionic conductive superionic glass has become quite active. In particular, the proposed application of glass electrolytes to rechargeable batteries has strongly stimulated the research and development effort. A key issue is the understanding of the nature of the ionic transport mechanism. The ionic conductivity is a product of the charge carrier concentration and the charge carrier mobility, which, in glass electrolytes, is strongly associated with the mobility of the ionic carrier through the microscopic glass defect. In order to improve our understanding about the ionic conductivity the effect of pressure on the ionic conductivity of silver based electrolyte glass of (AgI) 0.7 (AgPO 3) 0.3 has been studied. From these experiments it is shown that the higher the pressure the larger the ionic co...

Rietveld analysis using FullProf does not show the change of crystal structure due to milling process, but the diffraction pattern has a lower intensity and the diffraction-line was broadening. The results of line-broadening study on milled sample using Rietveld methods detected that the microstrain was occurred in the sample with value 0.127080(35) % and the average crystallite size was 424.78(20) Å.

The first type is the clear and transparent glass, named G-(AgI)0.5(LiPO3)0.5 and the second is the yellowish-green opaque named C-(AgI)0.5(LiPO3)0.5. The X-ray diffraction data confirmed that the G-(AgI)0.5(LiPO3)0.5 is an amorphous phase, with a broad peak corresponds to original LiPO3 glass, but its conductivity increases from 10−8 S/cm to 10−6 S/cm at ambient temperature, and the glass transition temperature decreases from 327 °C to 321 °C. The composite part, C-(AgI)0.5(LiPO3)0.5 consists of a mixture of amorphous background and several Bragg peaks that correspond to the crystalline AgI, but its conductivity increases from 10−6 S/cm to 10−3 S/cm at ambient temperature. The AC conductivity data at various temperatures were fit to the Non Linear Least Square Equation containing three parameters, the DC conductivity (σDC), the onset frequency (ωp) and the exponent factor (n). The values of n were found to be larger than 1 for LiPO3 and G-(AgI)0.5(LiPO3)0.5 which are in agreement with earlier results, while for C-(AgI)0.5(LiPO3)0.5 the n values are between 0.5 and 0.7. The n value really depends on the characteristic of the disorder materials and it may be due to more than one vibration that occur at the same time.

All solid state batteries that consist of solid electrolyte and two electrodes have attracted much attention, because of their potential for flexibility, safety and further miniaturization. Superionic glass AgI-AgPO3 is well known superionic conductor that has been investigated by many different techniques. Its high conductivity up to ~ 10-2 S/cm at ambient temperature has attracted many researchers to understand the mechanism of ionic conductivity. The neutron scattering studies revealed the existence of prepeak at low Q in the structure factor S(Q) and the boson peak at low energy in the dynamic structure factor S(Q,E). Those results showed that many interesting phenomena were found out in this material. However, its application as solid electrolyte in a solid state rechargeable battery is only little known. In order to complete the feature of this material, we fabricated cell batteries Ag/ AgI-AgPO3 /I2,C . The silver and iodine-carbon were used as the anode and cathode, respectively. This paper will describe the recent results of solid electrolyte AgI-AgPO3 and the performance of the new solid state battery.

The as-prepared V 2 O 5 /mesoporous carbon material containing 90 wt% V 2 O 5 shows better electrochemical performance, with capacity of 163 mA h g-1 after 100 cycles at the current density of 500 mA g-1 , as well as better charge/discharge rate capability for lithium storage than V 2 O 5 nanoparticles. The improved electrochemical performance indicates that the V 2 O 5 /mesoporous carbon composite could be used as a promising cathode material for lithium ion batteries.
