Today we know there is supermicroorganism - that is virus. Virus is the cause of some infection like what happened since early 2020 when the pandemy occurred. The virus is beta-coronavirus novel. This is the new type of corona. It is the cause of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19). Some efforts to overcome the disease includes health protocol such as 5 M in Bahasa Indonesia (wearing mask, washing hands, physical distancing, avoiding crowd, and limiting mobility). Implementation of the health protocol is limited when the public does not support. Public compliance to the policy is influenced by several factors like age and education. Hal ini akan menjadi pertimbangan bagi konsumen khususnya Muslim. Salah satu UMKM yang memproduksi sejumlah produk pangan di lingkungan Tytian Indah Bekasi yaitu Salimah. Tujuan dilaksanakan pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dalam menentukan makanan yang aman dan halal. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah pemberian materi dan diskusi yang dilakukan secara online melalui zoom dan grup whatsapp. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini telah berlangsung pada tanggal 24 dan 25 Oktober 2020. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan memberikan pre-test dan post-test. Nilai rata-rata antara pre-test dan post-test mengalami peningkatan yaitu 8,13 menjadi 8,73. Angsana (Pterocarpus indicus Willd.) merupakan jenis pohon yang berasal dari suku Fabaceae yang t... more Angsana (Pterocarpus indicus Willd.) merupakan jenis pohon yang berasal dari suku Fabaceae yang telah dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat sebagai obat tradisional. Ekstrak daun angsana mengandung alkaloid, flavonoid, tanin, glikosida dan saponin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan metode ekstraksi terhadap kadar senyawa tanin pada ekstrak etanol daun angsana yang diukur menggunakan spektrofotometer UV-Vis. Penarikan senyawa tanin dilakukan dengan metode ekstraksi maserasi dan sokletasi dengan pelarut etanol 96%. Asam galat digunakan sebagai pembanding. Analisa kuantitatif tanin dilakukan dengan pereaksi Folin-Ciocalteu dan natrium karbonat yang akan menghasilkan warna biru bila bereaksi dengan tanin. Diperoleh kadar tanin ekstrak etanol daun angsana dengan perbandingan metode ekstraksi maserasi dan ekstraksi sokletasi yaitu 92,39 mg GAE/g dan 197,88 mg GAE/g. Selain itu, ekstraksi metode sokletasi nilai rendemen 24,04% lebih besar dibandingkan rendemen ekstraksi metode maserasi yaitu 10,64%. Berdasarkan hasil uji independent sample t-test diperoleh nilai Signifikan 0,000386 < 0,05, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa perbedaan metode ekstraksi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kadar tanin ekstrak etanol daun angsana.

So the food is safe to consume. Besides, it should not against religion, faith, and culture. Chemical pollutants may come from migration of the food container or packaging, for example from a bowl or clear plastic cup. Migration happens as a result of the high temperature of food, duration of storage, and the production process. The higher the temperature the higher the possibility of migration. The existence of lead (Pb) and cadmium (Cd) in food may be because of environmental pollution, absorption of metal from equipment. The method used is empowerment by using several stages, namely the preparation stage and the implementation stage. Partners in this activity are women from RW 04 Perumnas Klender, East Jakarta, DKI Jakarta. Community service activities were carried out in March-April 2020. This service encourages partners to be actively involved, in the form of collecting various types of waste that have been determined, discussing materials, ecobrick techniques, and product manufacturing. The community service was held to the teachers and parents from Bintara Jaya Bekasi Kindergarten in order to quickly detect additional ingredients of fformaldehyde and rhodamine in food and using a test kit. The target is to increase the knowledge and skills of the teachers and parents from Bintara Jaya Bekasi Kindergarten students to detect and test foods containing formaldehyde and rhodamine B because the commons does not yet understand between safe and prohibited food additives. Rhodamin B merupakan zat warna kimia sintetik yang biasa digunakan untuk mewarnai berbagai macam tekstil.Namun Rhodamin B sering disalahgunakan untuk mewarnai berbagai macam kosmetik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keberadaan pewarna berbahaya Rhodamin B pada sediaan lipstik yang beredar di pasar Jakarta Timur. Metode: Survei pasar yang diperoleh 11 jenis lipstik dengan merk yang berbeda. Teknik samplingnya menggunakan teknik Judgement Sampling, sampling dilakukan berdasarkan lokasi pengambilan sampel yang mutlak ditentukan sendiri oleh peneliti.
