This is the first book of a series "A New Revolution in Physics" which contains 10 books, this first book highlights why a new revolution in physics is necessary and why it is inevitable.

Quantum mechanics is claimed the most successful theory of physics which explains the subatomic ... more Quantum mechanics is claimed the most successful theory of physics which explains the subatomic physics; it is completely different from the intuitive Classical physics. Quantum mechanics is mainly based on abstract ideas and mathematics which lead to several mysteries, the physical interpretations of these mysteries are beyond understanding, it is claimed that the mathematical equations work perfectly to explain the quantum world and that fulfils the aim of the quantum mechanics; any physical understanding are neither required nor possible. Quantum mechanics is regarded very successful because it is claimed that it explains the main mysteries regarding the atom and light which the Classical physics could not explain. This paper analyses these claims and finds that all the claims to have solved the main problems are not correct, there are big differences between the predictions of the quantum mechanics and the empirical findings, to bridge the gap, arbitrary abstract and non-scientific concepts are used which do not have any relation with quantum mechanics or physics, this clearly shows the failure of predictions of quantum mechanics, and therefore failure of the whole quantum mechanics. This paper should be read along with another paper by the same author "Are Dual nature of electron, Uncertainty principle, Schrodinger"s equation and Born"s interpretation based on scientific foundations?"

Quantum mechanics is claimed and considered the most successful theory of Physics, it explains th... more Quantum mechanics is claimed and considered the most successful theory of Physics, it explains the subatomic physics. There are four main pillars on which the quantum mechanics is created; these are the Dual nature of subatomic particles, particularly electrons, the Uncertainty principle, the Schrodinger"s equation and the Born"s rules & interpretations. This paper investigates the origin of these basic pillar concepts, it has been found that all these four pillars are based on non-scientific concepts, they do not have any empirical evidence in their support, they violates the empirically established laws of Physics, their mathematical derivation violates the basic laws of physics as well as mathematics on many counts. These violations cannot be discarded by the claim that quantum world is "weird but it works", it cannot be understood like the classical physics. The physicists accept that the quantum world is weird, which means its behavior is beyond understanding; it violates the known laws of physics. There is no justification for the violations, but in spite of all these violations it is believed that quantum mechanics is correct and explains the sub-atomic world, the fact is, quantum mechanics is not weird, it clearly tells it has failed to explain the quantum world, rather the belief which claims "but it works" is weird by ignoring the obvious failure which quantum mechanics itself is telling. The analysis carried out in this paper unambiguously establishes that all these four basic concepts of quantum mechanics are formulated by violating the basic laws of physics and mathematics on many counts, therefore, they do not qualify as scientific concepts which means any theory bases on these concepts will not be a scientific theory and will fail to describe any physics. A theory works or not is judged by comparing the explanations provided by the theory and the predictions of the theory with the empirical findings, this comparison is done and is found that the claim of successful explanations and the predictions of quantum mechanics fail completely, this is covered in my another paper "Does Quantum Mechanics explain Stability of an Atom, Electronic distribution in Atom, Structure of Periodic table and Atomic & Molecular Bonds?"
