Konrad Noronha
Konrad J. Noronha, PhD (USA), MS (USA), MTh (Delhi), BHMS (Pune), is the Director and Coordinator of the Center for Pastoral Management at Jnana Deepa Vidyapeeth, Pune, India. He is spiritual director at De Nobili College, Pune, India. He has a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision from Loyola University, Maryland. He is a nationally certified counselor (NCC) and a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) in the United States of America. In India, he is a licensed homoeopathic physician (BHMS). As a catholic priest, he belongs to the Society of Jesus (Jesuit). His work focuses on adult clients, especially seminarians, clergy, vowed religious and older adults. The intersection of psychology and spirituality/religiosity are among his research interests; the emphasis being on clinical applications of research findings. He has done extensive clinical work at sites that include the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, Baltimore, Maryland; the Counseling Center at Stella Maris, Timonium; Maryland; Mercy Medical Center, Baltimore, Maryland; Loyola University, Maryland, and in his home country India. He has many articles and peer reviews to his credit. His refereed articles have been published in Pastoral Psychology, Journal of Religion, Spirituality & Aging, Indian Journal of Psychological Medicine, Encyclopedia of Psychology and Religion, Vidyajyoti Journal of Theological Reflection, Jnanadeepa: Pune Journal of Religious Studies and Counseling and Values.
