This review explores the reason of change readiness, the definition of change readiness, instruments to measure change readiness and how to create change readiness for PLC. Change readiness is a precursor to the successful implementation of school improvement. There was no consensus on the definition of change readiness. However, leading scholars have similar views on the change readiness elements. We reviewed an instrument of individual readiness and two instruments of organizational readiness. We also found a useful strategy from leading scholars to create readiness. This literature review suggests directions for future research.

Evaluation of students’ learning experiences is necessary to fully understand what influences their approach to learning and the subsequent outcomes. The Deep Learning Approach is expected to continue to be improved through lectures in order to produce Generic Skills for students, and on the contrary, the Surface Learning Approach is reduced. Researchers conducted this research at HKBP Nommensen University of the economics education study program for first- and second-year students who experienced full online learning during the disruption period of the global pandemic. The research type is quantitative descriptive research with survey techniques to be able to describe the experiences and perceptions of students to gain learning outcomes. The Course Experience Questionnaire and Study Process Questionnaire were used in this study. A total of 44 people out of 60 students submitted an online...

The learning environment is critical because it affects approach and learning outcomes. A deep learning approach for students must continue to be built to produce generic skills and student satisfaction. This research was conducted at Prima Indonesia University in nursing education. Participants were divided into 2: Group 1, which started the course with purely online classes, and Group 2, which moved the course mode from face-to-face to entirely online UNPRI. Descriptive quantitative research methods with survey techniques were carried out in this study. The instruments were adapted from the Course Experience Questionnaire and the Study Process Questionnaire. The number of students who submitted a questionnaire was 68.5% which could describe the overall characteristics of students. The data was processed using the Structural Equation Modeling method. This study shows different experiences between groups in Appropriate Workload and Generic Skills. Group 2 experienced a reasonably heavy workload, and most generic skills were relatively high. This study did not find any relationship between Workload following learning outcomes. Appropriate Workload correlates with Good Teaching and Deep Approach to Learning. So Appropriate Workload has the opportunity to be increased immediately by increasing the capacity of the staff. The researchers recommend reviewing the curriculum and improving the staff's ability in student-centered learning. In addition, this study also has implications for further research.

We use secondary data of teachers' competency test for the last two years. Then, we analyze the data and defend our opinions based on literature review. We explore Guskey's model of the process of teacher change and Clarke and Hollingsworth's interconnected model of teacher professional growth. Then, we discuss the effectiveness of PLCs that can lead to teacher professional learning, which in turn improve instructional practice and students' learning outcomes. This research identifies the weaknesses of teacher working groups activities in Indonesia and provides chances to improve it.

This study uses a quantitative approach with the descriptive correlational method and multivariate analysis. The number of samples is 60 teachers. The instrument is self-administered and Likert scale model survey. Results of hypothesis testing showed positive and significant relationship between teacher perceptions of leadership and management of school practices in developing an organizational learning and academic optimism of teachers, while the context have both positive and negative correlation with teacher academic optimism. There were no consensus on the definition of quality teaching. However, leading scholars have similar views on the quality teaching components, ie good teaching and successful teaching. Good teaching related to the effectiveness of teaching behaviors thus it becomes foundation for development of expert teacher, while successful teaching was marked by the achievement of students. The third explores the interface betweentwo components of quality teaching - student engagement in academic. There appears, however, different of quality teaching standards in every context. Thus, this literature review suggests directions for future research.

The nursing profession needs to have generic skills, such as critical thinking, good assessment, ... more The nursing profession needs to have generic skills, such as critical thinking, good assessment, and communication, as well as the ability to balance multiple tasks at the same time. However, many nurses do not possess these abilities and are still accepted to work. It is essential to innovate the right model to produce graduates to fulfill the needs of the work profession. Therefore, the purpose of this research was to compare students' perceptions, awareness, and motivation towards the PBL model, and the Assignment and Presentation model on student generic skills. The research was carried out in the form of a quantitative experiment among students taking a Biochemistry course. The control and experiment classes were carried out in synchronous and asynchronous modes. At the end of the study, it was found that the perceptions, awareness and motivation of students in the Aalborg PBL model were higher than those in the Assignment and Presentation model. Furthermore, the Aalborg PBL model was following the characteristics of generation Z students who took the Biochemistry course. Consequently, this may improve the generic skills of those in the nursing profession.
