The report details the modalities and aspects of setting up a successful diverse multi-stakeholder constellation tasked with assessing and developing 21st-century skills guided by the labour market needs, technology trends and any differences stemming from gender. A blueprint for stakeholder engagement is a model for cooperation between higher education institutions and employers, provides a clear roadmap of engagement opportunities and potential action for all involved higher education and industry stakeholders.

This paper analyzes all new technologies that need to be applied, and this refers to the energy efficiency of the drive, the use of a different configuration, and the changed components on the elevator. This paper also deals with models that change the classic motion of the elevator and emit low energy consumption. It is of the key importance to show which countries strive to replace all their plants with new configurations and regulations, where the most important fact is to perform an impact assessment on an annual basis. The main goal of this paper is to show that all components designed at the experimental level should be introduced into standard plants and reduce their production cost. International container shipping is one of the most dynamic economic sectors of the last few year... more International container shipping is one of the most dynamic economic sectors of the last few years. In terms of value, global seaborne container trade is believed to account for approximately 60 percent of all world seaborne trade, and was valued at around 5.6 trillion U.S. dollars in 2010. Reflecting the sharp growth in world trade, global container traffic was 7 times higher in 2011 than in 1990. The global container trade increased by 4.7% in 2013 and by the end of 2014 it should reach 684 million TEU. The development of container transport in recent years marks a constant intention for increased cargo flows. This paper analyzed multi-objective container transport optimization on intermodal transportation networks from the Far East to Serbia through selected Mediterranean ports (Koper, Rijeka, Bar, Thessaloniki and Constanza) composed by two legs. Abstract The analysis of behaviour of extended one-sided stiffened bolted end-plate moment connec... more Abstract The analysis of behaviour of extended one-sided stiffened bolted end-plate moment connection is revisited here. On the basis of experimental tests, the behaviour of beam-to-column joint with and without stiffener is investigated. The stress distribution and deformation characteristics were determined and discussed with corresponding results of finite element analysis of joint behaviour. Furthermore, the extensive finite element simulations were carried out and the obtained results are discussed in this paper. The main analyzed parameters are the geometrical characteristics of the plates added to the beam-to-column joint. Their influence on joint resistance and stiffness is observed including the possibility of material cost optimization. Overall, the comparison of used approaches confirms their conjoint importance except for the postulation where the stiffener is assumed to behave as a strut in the joint. Also, there are some practical recommendations in design which can be used by engineers.
A holistic approach to analyzing the dynamic behaviour of a bucket wheel excavator (BWE) superstr... more A holistic approach to analyzing the dynamic behaviour of a bucket wheel excavator (BWE) superstructure, which is practically neglected by technical regulations but nowadays widely used during their design and redesign, is presented in the paper. The procedure for determining the potential and kinetic energy and the vector of generalized non-potential forces of the system, leading to the development of a reduced spatial dynamic (RD) model of the BWE with two masts is presented in detail. Direct validation of the established model has been performed by comparing the values obtained for the first ten natural frequencies (NFs) of the finite element (FE) model to those obtained by the RD model. Percent deviations of values of the NFs obtained for the RD model are very low compared to those obtained by the FE model (~1% for three fundamental NFs). Indirect validation of the RD model used in this research i.e. validation of values of the NFs which have been obtained by calculation and the respective modal deflection shapes has been achieved by comparing them to the studies containing the results of numerical-experimental research on the dynamic characteristics of BWEs of the same design concept. The values of NFs are of the same order of magnitude and the corresponding deflection shapes are in full compliance with those of the experimentally-analyzed BWEs.

This study is exploring the role of Eco-friendly elevators in literature based on an analysis of ... more This study is exploring the role of Eco-friendly elevators in literature based on an analysis of 113 papers published in scholarly journals drawn from the Scopus database. This is the first study which used a bibliometric analysis to review the academic literature in the elevator system research field. The analysis started with the gradual classification of collected papers according to the multi-objective problem of vertical transportation and a citation analysis. Determining predominant themes and sub-themes was conducted by bibliometric analysis based on the co-occurrence of title words inside bi-dimensional matrix. The obtained results highlighted an emerging research cluster (energy utilization) one of the most important for future elevator system development. This cluster addresses technological advances of elevators and predicts Eco-elevator technologies to be widely used in near future. This research could be very useful to foster in-depth knowledge of Eco-friendly elevators.
