The aim of this study was to evaluation role of serum levels of IL17A and it is correlate levels in patients of primary AA and the severe type (AU), all stress aspects .Estimated of some hematological parameters in clinical types of disease. The study groups included 58 patients and 30 healthy control. All patients clinically diagnosed to detect clinical type of disease of the scalp, body and any hair-bearing area. Venous blood samples were collected from all participants to do total and differential WBC and to measure serum IL17A levels using ELISA method. There was significantly increased in serum of IL-17A mean levels (P < 0.05) between patients with clinical types of disease and healthy control groups, also results referred significant difference between patients groups (P > 0.05). No correlation between IL-17A levels in serum and age range of patients. Mean of IL-17A levels were significantly elevated (P < 0.001) observed in AU according to presence of stress. AA and AU patients (severe type) showed significant difference mean of the total WBC in comparison to controls, there was significant differences between patients group (P < 0.05). Our study, indicated significantly increased in serum IL-17A levels, this has a role in disease continuity, pathogenesis and can be diagnostic parameter support biological treatment and accompany it treat psychological aspects if possible, IL-17A may be stimulated by stress with may effect on AU increased in total WBC of patients.
