Generation Y employees are sometimes referred to as the "next generation of workers," yet contrary to popular belief, several sources claim that this group is less devoted to remaining with a single employer than its predecessors. The increasing incidence of staff turnover has become an urgent problem. The purpose of this research is to determine what factors influence Gen Y workers in Malay-sia's IT sector to remain loyal to their employers over time. Organizational justice, managerial support, job satisfaction, and work-life balance were the independent variables examined, and their effects on the dependent variable, job satisfaction, were calculated (organizational commitment). Despite being natural phenomenon, disruption in internet service has catastrophic outcome for the organizations. One of the main consequences of this unwanted event is customers' dissatisfaction, which eventually lead brand switching behavior. Generally, organizations provide explanation to their customers during this critical situation. Effectiveness of explanation, however, greatly depends on different methods. Therefore, this study tries to unveil the most effective dimension of explanation, which mitigate customer dissatisfaction in such unwanted situation. Applying simple random sampling from four main internet service providers' database in Malaysia, this study managed to get 322 respondents, who gave complain about their service disruption during August to October 2014. Factor and regression analysis techniques had been applied to understand the most effective dimension of explanation. Results revealed that excuse has significant negative effect on gaining customer compassion. In contrast, apology become the most effective way of explanation followed by reference and justification during service failure. Indeed, this study is one of the limited literatures that provides deeper understanding of explanation in gaining customer compassion and eventually helps service industry to rethink their customer service strategies in gaining customer compassion, which ultimately keep their customer forever with them.

Such impact can be chiefly attributed to the status and nature of the firms operations. This impact may differ from country to country depending on a number of factors. In this paper we bring to light the limited literature on high-tech immigrant entrepreneurship and discuss three broad types of impact: 1) creating competitive and innovative businesses, 2) creating job opportunities, and 3) transnationalism. The paper draws some useful research questions aimed at triggering further scholarly investigation of this subject in future.

This study aims to validate the identified factors affecting the adoption of Social SCRM by Iraqi healthcare organizations. Mixed-method design was followed for sample of 8 Iraqi hospitals from surveys, including semi-structured interviews with senior IT and marketing managers from five different hospitals. Descriptive statistics and thematic analysis were used to analyze data and provide the requirements at the initial stage of Social CRM adoption. Findings from both survey and interview have shown that the level of Social CRM adopted by Iraqi healthcare organizations is relatively superficial in the formal integrated Social CRM strategy and policy framework. Additionally, findings of the study have further extended into the developing of proposed practical model to illustrate how Social CRM should be carried out from an organization’s strategic perspective. The developed model of this study was described by the combined three theories TOE, DOI, and institutional theory.

A conceptual model was developed based onthe theory of competitive advantage suggested by Porters and also extensive empirical study. The questionnaire was developed based on several steps and items were adopted from several prior studies. Stratified random sampling was employed to collect data from 203 respondents. Based on structural equation modelling, IT-enabled SCM is able to offer a wide range of operational benefits, instead of strategic. Results were antagonized several prior studies and confirmed that competitive advantages greatly depend on operational benefits rather than strategic. This is study is one of the very few empirical investigations that investigate the benefits of IT from two different perspectives and their effects of competitive advantages. Findings of this study will help managers to understand the importance of IT-enabled SCM in their organizations.
