The song "Freewill" by RUSH supports free will because it offers liberty, and fate is only a prison for humans, "All preordained /A prisoner in chains /A victim of venomous fate" (lines 24-26). Though RUSH thinks this way, in the Scarlet Letter, by Nathaniel Hawthorne, the antagonist, Roger Chillingworth, is doomed by his decision of taking revenge on Arthur Dimmesdale, and at the end his revenge does not take place; but the benefits of fate are shown in Arthur Dimmesdale, Hester Prynne, and Pearl at the end of the novel. In the Scarlet Letter, the destiny of the three characters is unknown, but when their destiny is revealed, then is seen that fate could be beneficial for one's life. Even though fate could be better for one's life, one will still choose free will because is not a mystery.

Scientology just exaggerates the flaws of the other religions, from practice to propaganda, and much more noticeable, the creation of the religion. Scientology tackles many issues that normal people struggle with, and it attempts to sell its ideas to those interested.
