André Joseph Armand Pronovost (born July 9, 1936) is a retired Canadian ice hockey forward.
Playing career
Pronovost began his career with the Montreal Canadiens in the 1956 season. He also played with the Boston Bruins, Detroit Red Wings and Minnesota North Stars. Pronovost was a member of four Stanley Cup winning teams in 1956-57, 1957-58, 1958-59, and 1959-60.
Personal
Pronovost's grandson, Anthony Mantha, is a top rated prospect who was drafted 20th overall by the Detroit Red Wings in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.[1]
