Andy Secher, based in New York City, is the long-time editor of Hit Parader, a magazine geared for the heavy metal rock and roll audience. Secher began writing about rock music in college. Soon after graduating, he started a syndicated column that ran in major newspapers, including the New York Daily News and the Sacramento Bee. He began working for Hit Parader in 1979.[1] Secher is one of three rock critics trashed in the Guns N' Roses song, "Get in the Ring". Secher is also a serious trilobite collector.[2]
