The Clubsport was introduced with the VN, it was the base car available at HSV, the GTS, introduced with the VP, was the upmarket version, it also got more power from a 5.7 litre stroked version of the base 5.0 V8. The Senator was the luxury car from HSV, based on the Calais, available with either the 185kw 5.0 or the 215kw 5.7 416 VS Senators were made
