Summary
Prince Bira of Siam's English Racing Automobiles R5B racing car, "Remus". Pictured in Bira's racing colour, "Bira blue", with the yellow wheels of the Siamese (later Thai) racing scheme. Photo appears to have been taken at a historic race meeting or show some time in the 1980s. In the late 1930s Prince Bira and his cousin Prince Chula of Siam owned three ERA cars. Remus was this was their second; the car's name can be seen on the scuttle, just ahead of the cockpit opening. All were run by their Whitemouse Garage racing team.
