"Holding On to You" is a song written and recorded by American alternative hip hop band Twenty One Pilots for their second studio album Regional at Best. The song also appeared on their third studio album, Vessel. "Holding On to You" was released as the first single from Vessel on iTunes worldwide on September 11, 2012.[1] A video for the song was released on 15 November.[2] The video was directed by Jordan Bahat.[3]
"Holding on to You" contains lyrical elements from the chorus of "Lean Wit It, Rock Wit It" by Dem Franchize Boyz.
