Scandal in Budapest or Romance in Budapest (German:Skandal in Budapest) is a 1933 German comedy film directed by Steve Sekely and Géza von Bolváry and starring Franciska Gaal, Werner Pledath and Lotte Spira.[1] It was made in Hungary by the German subsidiary of Universal Pictures. A separate Hungarian-language version was also made. The film was subsequently remade in Hollywood as Top Hat, starring Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers.[2]
