- 5th century CE - Diocese of Pamplona established.
- 466 CE - Visigoth Euric in power.[2]
- 542 - City taken by Frankish forces of Childebert.[2]
- 778 - City sacked by forces of Charlemagne.[1]

- 824 - Basque Íñigo Arista becomes King of Pamplona.
