"Bill" Waller (December 16, 1911 – September 25, 2007)[1] was the sixth head football coach for the Southern Illinois Salukis in Carbondale, Illinois and he held that position for two seasons, from 1950 until 1951. His overall coaching record at SIU was 3 wins, 14 losses, and 1 tie. This ranks him 16th at SIU in terms of total wins and 18th at SIU in terms of winning percentage. [2]
