Gary Lord (born rugby league footballer of the 1980s and '90s, playing at club level for Stanley Rangers ARLFC, Castleford, Leeds, Halifax, Oldham Bears in 1996's Super League I & 1997's Super League II, Wakefield Trinity, and Featherstone Rovers, as a Fullback, or Prop, i.e. number 1, or, 8 or 10.[1]

Challenge Cup final appearances
Gary Lord played Fullback in Castleford's 15-14 victory over Hull Kingston Rovers in the 1986 Challenge Cup final during the 1985–86 season at Wembley Stadium, London on Saturday 3 May 1986.[2]

Gary Lord played as Substitute/Interchange, replacing Gary Hyde, in Castleford's 18-22 defeat by Hull Kingston Rovers in the 1985 Yorkshire Cup final during the 1985–86 season at Headingley Stadium, Leeds on Sunday 27 October 1985, and played as Substitute/Interchange, replacing Gary Hyde, in the 31-24 victory over Hull in the 1986 Yorkshire Cup final during the 1986–87 season at Headingley Stadium, Leeds on Saturday 11 October 1986.
