Character Description
Ruby's a grumpy and Loud mouthed bounty Hunter.
She prefer's to avoid killing when carrying out a bounty, But if it calls for it, or you annoy her? She will try and turn you into a fucking kebab.
Personality
Ruby isn't that nice. She's bossy, loud and has little care for other peoples opinions and well being. She much rather prefers doing things her own way and isn't really a team player because of this.
While she may be confident in her decisions, she isn't overly confident in physical appearance. The best way to get at her is to insult her features, She's VERY defensive about herself and self conscious about a few aspects.
Her bossy and self centered attitude is hard to shrug off when she's also very pessimistic. Not the most supporting person in the world.
However, a lot of this is out on. She dislikes new people as she can't trust them. She LOATHES romantic types but enjoys messing with their emotions if they are persistent are not understanding "no means no". Once you crack that hard outer shell. she's a loyal and caring person. She'll still joke about you, with not at you, instead with you. She'll make sure nothing harms you and always keeps her word, even if it sucks on her end.

Background/History
Ruby's childhood was average. Nothing to brag about at all. She has always lived in and around Station Square. At a young age, she very much admired Sonic The Hedgehog and his efforts in saving the world. In an attempt to follow in his footsteps, she moved from home and began searching.
It was never as easy as she'd of hoped.
She ended up being forced to take up bounty work, sadly she'd not had much training so she sucked. This gave her the idea to get together a team.
Team Tempest is an even longer story but it didn't last anyway. The group disbanded following nasty relationships.
Sparks got her 'Super suit' through a failed GUN program that planned to change the way the world was policed. It dramatically enhanced her abilities, but as the suit was a prototype, it has quite a few bugs which cause it to malfunction during use sometimes.
After many bounties, she found herself growing bored of working alone and always having to put all the effort in, she wasn't willing to create another team, she wasn't ready for that sort of argument again. Instead she sided with a Hedgehog named Leo. Leo and Ruby's relationship slowly blossomed from partners to love. So much so,the two were due to be married. Unfortunately, It was not to be. On the day of the wedding, Ruby was left at the alter.
She was so heart broken and annoyed, she cut herself from people for months and months. Leo was never heard from again.
What she doesn't know is that he didn't actually leave her.
He died.
Time passed and Team Tempest V.2 eventually did happend, with only 2 original members of the 4.
Leona Hayes the lynx - Re-Joined after loosing a wager.
Pepper Gale the Hybrid - Kidnapped by them on a failed operation, she stayed on.
Jason Crowley the Hedgehog - Bribed into joining
Lita Hayes the Lynx - Leona's Cousin, also joined with Jason

World/Setting
Ruby is a mobian, But she grew up in Station Square surrounded by Humans.
She currently resides in the Mystic Ruins.
Body
Ruby is a dark red hedgehog with black streaks on her spines and a black side fringe. She has bangs on both sides of her head that are just red.
Ruby's fur colour darkens as she ages.
The black streaks are actually dyed, They are grey right now.
(Like her fur, it has darkened over time, they used to be white)
She has a Nautical Star Tattoo on her back, similar to the tattoo Kate Kane (Batgirl, new 52) has on hers. It was inspired by her.
She isn't very slim, she has a bit of chunk-ness to her; thighs, hips, butt and legs but always a well defined waist. She can be drawn with a bit of tummy and without! Open to interpretation! She's a DD cup.
Clothing
She is typically seen in her 'Super suit' (Pictured above)
Over time the suit has been revised and altered, but the overall look has never changed.
It's a black Skin tight suit with pocked of bullet proof material, stylized to fit in as a pattern. The circuits glow in the bullet proof areas that they flow through and enhance her abilities. She has a small control panel on her left arm when the suit is powered on whcih allows her to use certain abilities.
When off, the circuits are not visible.
She has gloves and boots. The suit also has a Diamonds on the leg, resembling Harley Quinn's symbol. (Nod to a voice I imagine her with)
"The suit itself was outstanding, it dramatically improved Ruby's speed and even added abilities. Of course, she still had little things to improve but it was clear the suit was working. It had bullet proof elements but still remained light weight for easy moving and skin tight. One of the suits special abilities is that it could work as a taser. Taking in electricity and electrocuting anyone on command. It could even take in memory like a computer but it was a pain to do that and not worth Ruby's or anyone's time. The suit glowed when in combat mode and would glow brighter, the more electricity it stored.
It still had a few bugs but she could summon her daggers using a specific code for easy transport and less of a threat. The technology was amazing but so was the price tag. Some of the bugs that the suit had were not worth the time of police either. The suit had a habit of occasionally overloading and electrocuting the user or shorting out and refusing to taser. Summoning was fine though. And due to the expensive material, not all was bullet proof and the police felt it looked ridiculous. Apparently, street safe wasn't their gig." - About the suit, from her story.
Accessories
She has a gold necklace with four green, empty gems on it. It's rumored she can store emerald fragments in it. Not that she'd need too....
She avoids taking it off, mostly because she's afraid of loosing it. She ALWAYS wears a choker necklace. She's too used to having one that she hates not wearing one.
