Oh no! It seems Yooka & Laylee have been drawn by THAT kind of artist again! Whatever shall they do?
With the release of Yooka-Laylee & the Impossible Lair and the creation of my fourth design for Laylee under my own style, I recovered inspiration for drawing the two and redrawn more stuff involving them! This, obviously, was me poking fun at myself for a bit and having the duo lampshade the difference in style between canon and my own pics...
... as well as, to my immense amusement, how the second game has a tonic that specifically turn Yooka more anthro, making him look more akin to how I and other artists draw him.
Yooka doesn't change nearly as much as Laylee through all my pics but then, given he's already immensely good-looking, what is there to change? Well, beside me sucking less as an artist and trying to get his details better over time?
However, the SFW pics I drawn at that time does showcase why v4 was ultimately replaced as my definitive design for Laylee ; as much as I liked it, I found that she looked too different when drawn SFW from NSFW.
