Exactly a year ago I posted this illustration, and then made it a gif for my patrons, but now you can enjoy it too. Look at him spin! This very special merboy is the first tropical fish in space! He's floating in a SpaceX dragon capsule wearing a modified starman suit that accommodates his tail. He's loving the mission, even though he's having a little trouble getting around in zero-g.
I'd like to see if we can get SpaceX to take a mermaid tail up to the ISS so we can test out how merfolk would cope in zero-g. ;)
