Ebony is an original character in the Fleetway Sonic Comics, aka Sonic the Comic.  She is a cat, a sorceress, and best friends with the sheepdog psychic named Pyjamas.

She is best known arc was befriending Fleetway Super Sonic, when he had amnesia.

Ebony, along with other Fleetway characters, made cameo appearances in the infamous Issue #134 of the Archie Comics.  She was alongside Amy and Tekno.  Thinking about it now, was that Fleetway Amy appeared alongside the girls?

If I could write Ebony and Tekno into the Archie universe, they would be great friends with Amy.  Sally would reject Amy's request to join the Freedom Fighters.  Afterwards, she venture on her own before befriending and team up with Tekno, like they did in the Fleetway Comics.  Later on, they would befriend Ebony.

From that point forward, Ebony would become the good guy's method of combating other magic users.  "Magic must defeat magic."

Ebony would also befriend Hershey.  With Ebony's help, Hershey would be able to fake her death and go undercover.  However, Ebony would later have to tell Hershey that her husband Geoffrey committed treason...
