Raising His head at the Night sky, The Blue Fennec Known as Kitsunami, gazed into the night sky. It was so nice, Peaceful, Lovely... He wished He could be it.
Away from all the worries, Pain, Sadness...That would be great.
"Uh, Kit?"
With the Name call, however, He would find himself back to reality, Turning over to the Red Fennec who sat beside him on the half boulder, Alec. "H-Huh? Sorry, My mind was... Somewhere else."
Alec brushed it off with no real worry. "Eh, It's okay! I was just asking If You have any other friends is all."
Immediately, Kitsunami shook his head, Surprising Alec a bit. "Hm...No, N-Not any besides Y-You."
Alec raised a brow. "...Really?" Kit nodded in confirmation. "Well...Have you been anywhere, Like an Amusement Park or Such With other people?"
And He shook his head again, Albeit a little shaken this time. "N-No..." Alec can tell he was getting a little scared. "O-Other people...S-Scare me, I-If I'm gonna be honest..."
"Really? But...I'm an "Other People" too." Alec scratched his head.
Kit still kept Shaking. "Y-Yeah, But You're...D-Different."
Kit could feel his heart rate go up more and more as He shivered and Quivered much more...
Only when Alec put his arm around Him, The Shivering lessened a bit.
He looked up at Alec, Who sported Him a Smile. "Ain't no different from it Kit! Some of the people I know are Nice! Sonic, Tails, Amy...You'd just love 'em!"
Kit had un-fetal positioned Himself at that point, But was Still scared though. "I-I don't know..."
Alec then took the time to pat the Water Fennec on his shoulder. "Don't worry Kit, I'll be along with You every step of the way so You don't have to feel lonely, Would that work out...?"
Hesitantly, The Fennec Nodded. He didn't very much like it...But as long as He was with Alec, Someone He knows...He guessed it wouldn't be TOO bad. "F-Fine...But only if You're With Me...I-I could try."
And Alec responded...by Hugging Him tenderly, "Yay~ I'm sure you'll love it~"
"I-I hope so too..."
and in the midst of it all, Both tails behind them wagged happily...

Eyes snapping Open immediately, Alec's first choice was to look around His room for something, Anything, of His friend.
Nothing.
There was nothing of Him anywhere.
Just His table, which had blueprints, A Tv, and His Robo-Pet Pumpkin in the corner, Resting.
And that was it.

Alec sighed, He raised a hand to his head to rub his temples and calm His nerves.
It was the 3rd time he dreamt Bout The Water Fennec this week.
And Like all the dreams, It did leave him waking up to reality.
to nothing.

It had been like 2-3 months since that day...Alec admits to Missing Kit.
Ever since his birthday, He just honestly just stopped showing up all together. It left the fennec to think a lot about why such happened too;
Did he say something wrong? Did He do Something wrong?
Did He overstep His boundaries a bit too much? Was He too whiny? Too Weird? Creepy? Nerdy?
Did He just Radiate an unworthy 2nd tier Vibe!?
Rampant Thoughts overfilled His mind, all were wonderfully dread as He could only cover his ears in retaliation. Especially due to that ONE more frequent thought, It being;
Maybe...Maybe He just... didn't like Him.
"Nooo...!" The fennec clutched himself harder, Looks of uncomfort riddled as he merely whimpered On the bed.
Such a thought, He Hated it,
SO MUCH!!
Alec groaned so much as He fell back on the bed, Groaning as he turned to the side and looked at the window, beyond past it and into the sky.
That Night sky.
Full of clouds and all the little stars in it.
Although he knew he should've been mad at Kit, Not sad at him...He just couldn't find Himself doing so, Really.
Like, nobody would Blame Alec if He was even a LITTLE mad. It was His birthday, after all. A Special day in His life and one of the few special people He wanted to enjoy it with;

He Should be FURIOUS! Pissed off! He should be ANGRY with Eyes full of RAGE!!

Huddling himself close like it would help, Tears were wept, Landing on the floor of His own bed as he shivered. "K-Kit..."
He couldn't be mad, He just couldn't...!
He never knew or understood why, But one thing was for sure to Himself That He knew-
-He Missed Kit.
...He missed His friend.
