E.1610-1954 This is a fashion drawing based on design by Peter Russel, a designer in London. This dress and hat were designed for 'Ascot' as is understood by the pencil inscription on the page. It was drawn by Marcel Fromenti for illustration in The Lady magazine, London, 1953-4.
