Ms. S- Art Lessons on Instagram: "I love to teach color theory in the Spring. When we get back from break we will begin an acrylic painting unit in my foundations classes. Mixing paint is so relaxing and I love to teach students how to use complementary colors to darken warm hues so that they stay warm. It is also how students create a range of desaturated and brown hues. I teach students to use black as little as possible to give their shadows more subtlety.
