JO: this was the best roast I've ever made. We are barely going to have enough left for leftovers. I added potatoes, onions and baby carrots on top of everything. I can't remember if her recipe said x the powders in the water or not, but I was told by someone else who's made it before to rub the dry mix onto all sides of the roast, then pour the water around the roast.
