I am obsessed with the taste of sweet miso in desserts and @itsuofficial miso’gold paste is honestly the best. I mix the miso in with honey and spread over baking parchment before topping with slices of banana. lay over a slice of puff pastry, brush with an egg wash and bake until crisp, golden and caramelised. The combination of sweet, salty, and umami is just heaven. Serve with a scoop of ice cream or yoghurt for a simple sweet treat. Feel free to swap the bananas for apple or pears!
