Found a plastic sled at a goodwill then spray painted it silver. My husband used a plastic saw to make the "scraping" holes then I simply and carefully burned edges with a lighter to get a brownish burned look. Bingo!

A bit hard to see due to the lighting and it was at night. I made this Griswold family truckster from styrofoam. The tree was made separately. I painted it with acrylic paints found at craft stores then tied it with some rope (jute). Huge hit with my family!
