It's exciting to see the small increments of improvement. It's also funny that the growth is definitely not lineair. Sometimes you have a good one, other days, not so good one. I'm curious to see where I will be next month. I need to develop into other poses at some point, but it's a bit of a thing to determine when that it... will think about that.

The One Day Challenge Reflection: I'm happy with the lines being more fluid (at least when I'm drawing them), but I'm still not confident on drawing boobies and feet. I will focus on them tomorrow heheh :p I do like the shape of the feet, maybe I just need to focus on that first, just the basic shape and then the details. Will do, draw again tommorrow. And ow yeah, give the croquis a basic thing to wear, I might not be summer on Pinterest ;)

The One Day Challenge Reflection: Eventhough I had to take a break when I did wanted to draw, it was good to gain some new perspectives. This one came out as the best so far! Drawing the feet still scare me, but anatomy lessons will really help out. Ahhh I want to draw the clothes! Maybe I secretly will ;)

The One Day Challenge Reflection: Not too shabby! The body looks more natural. It really helps to think in lines and where they need to flow to. At some point the model is gonna need some 'actual' clothes though :p. This is beginning to feel like a mind-body check to see if I really know what a body looks like and to pay more attention to it and then draw from memory.

The One Day Challenge Reflection: Hahaha alright, all I can think of is: alien arms ;p. I did feel more sence of flow. Not just looking at what I'm drawing but connecting the parts. Less thinking, more feeling and expressing. I'm not gonna point out what can be changed this time, just trying to keep the flow and see what comes out <3

The One Day Challenge Reflection: Hahah why are my croquis always bottom heavy ;p? It's getting there, but I notice that on some days I have that 'leg magic' and some days.... But it does have feet now! Jeej! 1) add more fluidness to the limbs 2) learn more on drawing anatomy 3) symmetry please <3

The One Day Challenge Reflection: Meeeh the feet! I'm affraid of them ;p Hands are getting better. I wanted more details but I think I have to get the body first. 1) keep an eye on the symmetry (shoulders) 2) ankles ! 3) a boob or 2 would be nice ;D 3) focus on the body first.

Looking back on the beginning of the week, I've improved a lot actually. I definitely want to draw more and see what is possible. Some anatomy classed will be taken! Let's make this croquis smile <3

The One Day Challenge Reflection: Meh, this one didn't go as well as I wanted to. Did add some feet though. The knees are bit more natural. 1) pay attention to the angle and size of the feet 2) figure out the shoulders 3) breasts would be nice... ;p

The One Day Challenge Reflection: OMC I will never not draw again. I missed a day yesterday and this really drove my determination to make more space for drawing in my life. I'm so happy with this result! 1) arms and hands are better! 2) overal proportions are better 3) also draw feet that are not on their toes ;p 4) Don't shy away from using basic shapes as a base. 5) make line thickness more consistent (check the head).

The One Day Challenge Reflection: I've grown a bit more confidence when drawing because my sense of body ratios is starting to grow. - overal can be more natural - focus on shoulders and arms, lower arms can be a bit longer - symmetry of the shoulders and lower legs. - yeah...the lips... ;P - hands are nicer, but the feet..? aim for bare feet to begin with. - boobs! I didn't draw yesterday and this made me a bit sad. Let's stay on track :D

The One Day Reflection: Finally I've added some details. I like how it turned out. I do want to add more facial features because just eyes creeps me out a little ;p 1) Add more facial details 2) draw boobs! 3) the hands! less claw, more hands! I would love to experiment with drawing a combination of female and male forms. Could give interesting results because I always wonder if I'm secretely trainin my mind to see this croquis as the standard for all humans...

The Day One Challenge Reflection: Ok, I wasn't ready for no lines yet.. hahah. It looks pretty good, but I feel that I need to keep a reference image in mind of how good I want to be at drawing. 1) find reference image 2) work on naturalistic drawing (not photorealistisch, but more human like) 3) add eyes and ears. -> aim for as many details necessary. I'm excited! Because I take it one day at a time, I can really soak up the proces and really see improvements!

I've been doing the One Day Challenge in order to improve drawing a croquis. This mindset has really shifted my perspective on what focus in the right place can do. What will you improve?

The One Day Challenge Reflection: Wow, this is the best one so far. I can really see an improvement. 1) Symmetry of the legs can be improved. 2) Focus on making the arms and hands more natural 3) Let's try one without lines I love this excersize. I've always had so much respect for people who are able to acurately draw what they imagine. Now I feel I'm well on my way to doing the same thing ;)
