In this video you're going to want a pizza pan that came from Dollar Tree. And I'm using the splatter screen to trace out the buffalo check scrapbook paper that I got from Hobby Lobby. That splatter screen fits perfectly in the center of that pizza pan. So that is another way that you could trace out any of your scrapbook paper if you don't have that sticker that came with the pizza pan originally. You then just want to cut that tracing right out and before I apply that scrap of paper on the pizza pan, I'm just going along the edges of the pizza pan with this folk art white chalk paint and you want to just allow that to completely dry. Once dry to adhere the scr

Today I used this mason jar on a stand and salt and pepper shakers from Dollar Tree. I took the mason jar and painted the front and back with mineral color chalk paint by Waverly. The back of it got two coats. The front of it got mostly one except for the lid. I also gave the lid on both sides two coats. And on the second coat I did use a sponge to prevent those paintbrush strokes. And then on the bottom I used sheep skin color chalk paint by faux cart and painted the stand with just one coat of that. And then took this piece of scrapbook paper I had left over and it's from Hobby Lobby. And I just taped it to the mason jar so I could trace it easier. And placed something down under it to make the tracing user as well. I cut that out and then applied a generous amount of Mod Podge to the front side of the mason jar. And then placed down the scrapbook paper. And on the top towards the lid I just trimmed up any excess that I had on there. Smooth it out the best I could with my hands at first. And then I used my heating tool to dry that. Once that was completely dry, I took another layer of Mod Podge and applied that to the front of the scrapbook paper. Next I went around with my sanding block and sanded off any excess paper. And then took some twine and just wrapped it around the top of the jar at the bottom of the lid. Wrapped it around a few times and then just tied a little bow off to one side. Next I just took one of the salt and pepper shakers and painted that with the same mineral color chalk paint. Giving that two coats. Next I'm taking these burlap flowers that I got from Amazon and I'm taking some grapevine wire that was from Hobby Lobby. Hawk gluing that to the back of the flower and then placing a button over the wire and the glue. Just for extra stability and so it looks a little nicer. And then held it up to the mason jar to see how tall I wanted it. And then trimmed that up. And did that to another four of these burlap flowers. Once those are all cut, I placed one inside the salt and pepper shaker and held that on the back of the mason jar to get placement for it and then took quick hold glue and hot glue to one side of the salt and pepper shaker and glued that to the back of the mason jar. And then I took some floral foam that I got from Dollar Tree. Cut some small pieces and pushed it down inside the salt and pepper shaker. Just got it nice and full with the foam. Then place down all of my flowers inside that foam. Trimming them down as needed. Once I had them arranged how I wanted them I kind of just held them in place and added a bunch of hot glue inside the salt and pepper shaker. And then just held that there until the glue had set. And that is it for this project. Thank you so much for watching.

Friends I'm so excited about this one. I found all these things at the Dollar Tree. Let's get started. So the first thing I did was take this placemat. Super pretty right? And I just cut it in a circle. I wasn't super worried about it being perfect. I just wanted to cut it ish in a circle. You know me. I don't mind if it's off a little. Cuz I am too. Anyways then I take my Mod Podge and I cover the entirety of the what's it called? Pizza Man. And I do bottom and the ridge or the edge as well. I go over all of it. Then I take this really pretty fabric I got at the Dollar Tree and I put that on the pan and again I'm doing it the edges all of it and smoothing out all of the wrinkles, all the things. Now I did find when I put my Mod Podge on the top because we're going to do another layer of Mod Podge. When you do that I really found that you had to really kind of get your you know like I see how I'm using my finger around the edges just so that the fabric actually adheres to the the pan and it doesn't bubble up. That makes sense. So I did that all the way around. And then I made sure also to put a layer all over it. Um the bottom you know the main part and the sides as well. Just so that it has a chance to really adhere. And then I let it dry really well. I mean I should when I say really well I probably let it dry just enough because you know I'm impatient. But this is me doing those sides that I was telling you about. And again I just kind of made sure I ran my finger over it just to make sure that it was making a good connection because I didn't want the fabric to bubble up and then be a hard mess. So there you go. And then again this is it takes a minute. But you know what friends? It's okay to take a minute and enjoy the process. It doesn't not everything has to be super fast and quick results right? It's fine. So that's that. This fabric slays me. I just love it. And I thought it matched really well with that placemat. So I'm really excited about Super pretty. And again I'm using matte modge pod mod podge but you could certainly use the gloss if you wanted. You could even use the dishwasher safe one. Then I glued the placemat and thing of really thick rope around the edge. Now here I am doing a messy bow which is just crisscross applesauce. I just took strips of fabric that I tore. And now I'm taking some jute and tying it in the center. Um and I tie it this way because I find that it gathers it really like this and then after I tie the knot I'll flip it over and tie it on the back so that the dew is on the back partion of it and then I just trim the ends and it's ready to put on my what's it called sign so then I put this on the sign and that friends I put a hanger on it on the back but I don't even know if that was even necessary I am just there for it yeah and with the messy bows I do kind of mess it up like that I just glued this on the back but there you go friend I hope you enjoyed. Have a great day and don't forget to follow for more.

9.7K views · 271 reactions | DIY Love Hoop | By Creating Through Chaos | Hey everybody it's Janice with Creating To Chaos. I'm going to start this project off with this wooden hoop from Dollar Tree. Two small Dollar Tree Jenga blocks and a piece of wood from my stash. I'm going to glue one Jenga block down in the center of the wood. And then I am going to take the hoop and place it next to that and glue that into place. And then I'm going to take the other Jenga block and glue it behind that hoop to hold it in place. And just get that in there and that's going to hold our hoop upright and I'm just kind of pushing off all the glue that came out from underneath it I don't want any of that on there and then once I have that all together I am going to take my antique wax and I'm going to stain the whole entire thing so that bottom base the Jenga blocks and the whole hoop that bottom base is just a flat piece of wood that I had in my stash it it you can use anything as a base it's up to you so Once I get all of that on there and glued I'm just going to take this and just cover the entire thing with the antique wax. Making sure that I get even the bottom half of that hoop. Then I'm just going to let that dry thoroughly. Next I'm going to take this love cut out from Hobby Lobby I believe. I'm going to paint that with an antique white. And I did just the front part of it. I didn't do the sides or the back. I'm just going to leave those natural. But just the front of it with this very light colored antique white. Once I have that all painted I'm going to put that in the centre of the hoop here. Kinda get it where I want it. And I'm going to try and attempt and fail at my first couple of times to flip it over while it's still on there. But I realized that that was kind of impossible. I'm going to try and mark out where the hoop hits the love. Just so I can put the glue on those spots. So I decided to hold it on one side. Draw my lines. And then do the same on the other side. And I'm just trying to make sure that I get it so that I can put the glue in just those spots so I'm not putting glue where it doesn't need to be. So now I'm going to place that glue down. And then I'm going to add that right to the front of the hoop and I'm going to try and line up those lines. Get that glued on there. And look at how cute that looks. Next I'm going to take these two pieces of small greenery. I picked off of a larger pick from I believe these were from Dollar Tree. And I'm just going to glue those to the very top of the hoop. I'm just using two small pieces. You could add more if you wanted to. That's up to you. And I'm just going to glue those on. And then I made this bow out of like a chiffon ribbon. And it's just a simple bow and I'm going to glue that right to the top in the center of those two pieces of greenery. And I'm just doing this flat instead of like pointing the bow towards anything. I'm just doing it laying it flat right on the top. And that is it. This project is finished. I think this turned out so super cute. It's really neutral and pretty and it was easy to make. I hope you enjoyed this video I hope it inspires you to make one. Thank you for watching and as always don't forget to spread the chaos.

I'm going to start this project off with this hanging house that I got at Dollar Tree. I'm also going to use a grapevine wreath and a piece of buffalo check ribbon. The buffalo check ribbon is from Hobby Lobby and the grapevine wreath I've just had. I'm not sure where exactly it came from. I'm just going to cut a strip of that buffalo check ribbon and I'm going to wrap it around the wreath. Glue part of it to the top. And then I'm going to pull the ribbon through and glue that other piece on top of that other ribbon. Just making a loop to hang the wreath on. Making sure that that's nice and dry so it holds the wreath. Then I'm going to take some greenery and I got this greenery at Hobby Lobby also. And I'm just going to cut a few pieces off of the bushes that it was on. And then I'm going to arrange them on the wreath on just one side. So I'm just going to put a little bit of glue right there. Kind of set it where I want it. And then hold it in place. And then I'm going to do the same thing with a couple other pieces at the bottom half meeting those other ones in the middle And again just holding them until they were dry. And I'm just going to use the silicone spatula so I don't burn my fingers. And I'm kind of pushing them in. Once those are on, I'm going to take these sunflowers. These also came from Dollar Tree and I did two of them. I'm just kind of arranging them where I want on top of that greenery. Put some glue down and then glue them into place. Just kind of trying to figure out where I want everything. And then just hold those until they dry. Once I have those on there. And look at I think this turns out so cute. Anyway once I have those on there I'm going to take a bow I made out of the same buffalo check ribbon. And I'm going to glue that right to the bottom half of the ribbon that I wrapped around the wreath. And I love how this looks. And so finally I took a tack It's a furniture tack and I just cut off the back of it and it's just black. And I'm going to just glue that right to the top up here to look like it was holding the ribbon on. And that is it. This project is finished. This was so easy to make. I love the look of it. It's got a farmhouse look but it also has a summer and spring look. It's something that you could be used for all year. I absolutely love it. I hope you enjoyed this video. I hope it inspires you to make one. Thank you so much for watching and as always don't forget to spread the chaos.
