This English course for homeschoolers, Comparative Literature & Composition, requires reading of a variety of genres, non-literary as well as literary, including memoirs, essays, and speeches of U.S. historical significance, a classic novella, a modern novel, and a variety of poetry, spanning the 1600s to the 2000s. It is an excellent choice for a 9th or 10th grade English credit.
Information Technology Class for Homeschoolers
Information Technology 1 is a live and interactive course where students will learn programming fundamentals, many different creative applications, web design tools as well as many general technology concepts. Information Technology 2 offers a learning progression beyond level 1. Utilizing similar applications and concepts initially, Information Technology 2 dives into actual coding for each application, as well as a more intermediate look into each area of study.
College and Career Readiness Class for Homeschoolers
The College and Career Readiness class provides students the skills they need to create, live, and lead, successful lives that make a difference. This course, live or self-paced is a full semester course and students receive 1/2 credit in Leadership Development.
SAT and ACT Bootcamp for Homeschoolers
This self-paced course from Mr. D Math, guides students through a targeted practice test. Lessons focus on reviewing the types of questions students could see on the SAT/ACT while teaching them effective strategies to tackle these problems head-on.
