I am over the moon to share this recipe with you in collaboration with my friends at @kerrygoldsouthafrica - it was so fun climbing on the delicious Brown Butter trend that’s taken the internet by storm lately. We have made two batches of these cookies a week for the last few weeks and our whole household is smitten.

I’d also like to add that could be the only choc chip cookie recipe you’ll ever need again. Give them a try and let me know if you agree?

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Makes about 20 cookies
200g butter
150g light brown sugar
100g caster sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 egg
2.5 cups plain flour (300g)
1 tsp bicarb
½ tsp salt
100g dark chocolate chips or chunks
Sea salt flakes (optional)
