Snickers Energy Bites 13 softened and pitted Mejool Dates, chopped 1/2 cup peanut butter 2 cups of gf rolled oats 1/3 cup of peanuts 1/2 cup of dark chocolate chips 1 tsp coconut oil Directions. If dates are hard, place them in a bowl with boiling water for 20 minutes to soften them. Combine oats, peanut butter, peanuts and chopped dates in a 6 cup food processor. Scraping down the sides until it’s a fine crumble. Combine small amounts into balls. Place each ball gently on parchment paper lined pan. Place balls in fridge to firm up for 30 minutes. In a microwave safe bowl, mix chocolate chips and coconut oil. Heat in 30 second increments and stir until melted. Usually about 1 minute total. Drizzle chocolate on top of the energy bites. Top with chopped peanuts if desired. Enjoy! Since hardwood cuttings are tougher, they don’t require as much humidity, so you can avoid the hassle of using a plastic bag. After preparing your cuttings, you can place them in a cold frame, a cold greenhouse, or even outdoors in a sheltered spot. Just make sure they don’t dry out or get too much rain or snow.
