I got some rope in six of these plastic bells because we're using Pottery Barn's brassbells as inspiration. We need to level up these bells on a budget. So I'm going to spray paint it to give it a brass antique finish. Trust the process. First you're going to spray paint the bells black. Then go in with gold spray paint and lightly spray paint the bells. I was pleasantly surprised with how I antique these look. Cut each rope a different length and pulled it through the top of the bell. Enchanted Land or Boy Scout so I could tie this knot. Last step I use a shower rod to hold up the bells in my doorway. I felt like it looks kind of plain so I added this botanical garland. I can't decide what's better. Garland or no garland. Something about the bells alone is so classic and simple. What do you guys think?
