So for anyone who wasn't here before Limbus Company released, when the game was first being teased, Project Moon posted a set of headshots (one of each sinner) with their eyes crossed out in various ways. Along with the headshots was an emoji and a famous quote from their original inspiration work, usually in the original language but not always.

The emojis are still used today to represent the sinners, so I figure I'll compile them:

I counted it like this:

How accurate is it? I don't fucking know, I can't do math. Half the time I remembered some sinners in the artwork after I counted. So if you have more accurate numbers with a particular sinner, you can correct me.

And if anything, those numbers probably don't mean anything, because the sinners may not even know each other, but they may be in this Mirror World.

As an example, Meursault and Ryoshu from Wuthering Heights - They're listed in the same mirror world, but they've never crossed paths.

Not gonna lie...

Seeing Hong Lu's EGO portrait teased already got me a bit teary eyed.

I mean like

He's already been welling up with a lot of feelings like this I bet. His carefree facade giving way to intense melancholy and how his detached approach is really tearing him apart.

I will never forget his Cavernous Wailing lines. He really is so intensely emotional when he resonates with that EGO... "A heart shaken by sorrow bursts... like this."

I have a feeling we're gonna see Lin Daiyu, and we'll also see Hong Lu truly have his heart broken.

I hope he will reach a more holistic character development than others though. Again, closer to Don.

There's something to be said about the fact that Hong Lu almost always goes along with whatever is asked of him, and yet the one time he explicitly expresses his want to not partake in the Heirarch Evaluation, the company he works for overrules him.

That really got to me. Really, the ONE time he expresses on multiple occasions on what he actually wants (or doesn’t want in this case) and this happens.

I have to wonder if he thought this would happen though. Like I initially thought he might’ve assumed this would happen, but I feel like if he knew he wouldn’t have bother to express that he doesn’t want it.
