What kind of camera and lenses do you use?
A Canon 5D Mk II and usually a Canon 35 f/1.4, or a Canon 135 f/2.0

What photo editing software do you use?
I do 90% of my work in Lightroom, but all retouching/compositing in Photoshop CS6

What does your editing workflow look like?
It varies by photo, but typically I begin by adding a VSCO filter for split-toning and giving my photo a certain feel, then proceed to adjust white balance, highlights and shadows, curves, hue/saturation/luminance and add sharpening. Here is a visual example

Which VSCO packages would you recommend?
01 or 06 and 05. 01 includes the Kodak Portra series, which is very clean and great for any photo. 06 is very similar to 01, but has a more in-depth collection of the Portra and Fuji 400H series and stays true to the "filmly look". I almost exclusively use 06. Pack 05 is great if you love deep, pretty colors and shoot a lot at golden hour or in situations with deep shadows. If you could only have one, I would consider 06!

Did you go to school for photography?
Yes, I attended a 2-year Associate of Fine Art program at a community college. It was a great start, but I learned most of what I know today from doing research online.
