Can people tell that Bg3 has once again consumed my life for the last *checks calendar* three days? Because I sure noticed that I've beaten my record for fastest campaign completion (previously at 4½ hours)

The leveled urge is my second try at getting the least exp I possibly can and I was better at it than last time!! This time I only reached level 6 by the last battle since I allowed myself to use some mods that made the fights easier, but I don't think finishing at level 5 is possible without using Gale

Maybe the biggest sign (not really but for the sake of argument) that I might be on the spectrum was in English class when we were supposed to say what defines us as a task. It was supposed to be like a 'white men are seen as the default so girls will generally mention that they're girls and POCs will probably say what their heritage is' thing and most of my classmates did write the "My name is x and i live in y and my hobbies are z" kind of text.

Meanwhile I did an acrostic poem of the sentence 'I am me'. The last time I can think of where acrostic poems were relevant in my life outside of the context of kpop was in 6th grade. However, this whole situation was in 12th grade. I was 17 at the time and I can only imagine the confusion of my teacher when she looked at my results over my shoulder expecting a text describing me and found a bad poem instead.

Been poking Astarion in my current run and interestingly enough he doesn't even disapprove of most of the shitty answers you can give him. I did it mostly to see if he would leave (because I assumed companions would just leave if they didn't like you but no matter how hard I tried, he stayed in the party).

Love that you can quote cazador's number 1 rule at his face without even knowing about it when you let him bite you and talk to him later.

It's literally "thou shalt not drink the blood of thinking creatures" (Astarion did actually disapprove of this answer, funnily enough)

Also, I forced him to eat the worm and I picked the wisdom option for the first time. At this point I don't even know why Astarion isn't leaving my ass.

Posting these cuz I know y'all are cowards who would never say any of this to him and sometimes I just wanna set traumatized (fictional!) characters on fire and study how long it takes for them to turn to ash.

The Baldur's Gate 3 rabbit hole is so real y'all. I started playing like 2-3 months ago and just hit 600 hours overall.

It's been eating all my free time fr because for some reason I just have the urge to replay it over and over to the point of finishing a new playthrough within 10-15 hours over a couple of days. I can't stop.

Please send help.

Wake up people, I replayed shadows of Valentia.

Did it on Hard/Classic too, this time, so for once I have the 'hardest difficulty' experience. I was overusing the 'I've been defeated but I can't fall here'(/retreat) mechanic to be honest but if I didn't I wouldn't have been able to do it without casualties soo...

Now, the obligatory character tier list, but only based on gameplay and not on how much I like them (except for the yellow tier ig)

I honestly can't say too much about the characters I barely used. Like, I tried to train the Pegasus sisters but Palla and Catria did not make any impression because their damage output was pretty bad. The rest was just higher level than the rest of my units but still somehow worse so I didn't even bother.

Leon, Valbar and Clive honestly just make me feel bad because I tried to make them work but Leon and Clive kept getting one-rounded without being able to do substantial amoubts of damage and Valbar was not at all doing the tanking he should have done.

I honestly liked to use all the units in the middle tier but if I sent all of them together to defeat an enemy squad half their size they wouldn't be able to defeat them in one turn so it's really just a shame. They're still relatively good units and either deal somewhat high damage or have somewhat high defense. So they're, in one word, passable.

The orange tier consists of units that are really good as long as I don't accidentally trade away the weapon or ring they have. The mages in this tier tend to be too fragile to be in enemy range too often, Faye is too slow to consistently Nosferatu tank despite her high defense and Jesse would not do as much damage if he didn't have his 60%crit Brave sword. I could go on but to put it short, these characters are able to defeat a few enemies on their own when the situation is in their favour.

The babygurls are most accurately characterized by saying that I've put each of them into a group of enemies on their own and they have held their own, thrived even. Claire is a very consistent Mogall killer, with high enough speed to double them. Lukas has not had any encounter with a physical enemy that dealt more than 1 damage exactly to him since act one and, additionally to that, he also has high speed and attack. So really, he's good for any physical confrontation. Tobin, as my favourite character in this game (although my phone just autocorrected his name to Robin) has enjoyed a lot of training as an archer and was so much better than Python on the same level it's not even funny. He's got somewhat high defense and very high skill, reaching respectable crit chances without any support. I honestly know his crit quotes by heart so that's got to tell you how good he is. Silque is a pretty good Nosferatu tank and her invoke soldiers are good mage killers and distractions to boot.

Lastly, Alm and Celica. They got to their max level very fast and when I started using them less, I really felt their absence. They have both accomplished several solos when my other characters were too fragile to fight and are still just as crucial in gameplay even when you ignore their status as the main characters.

Been letting my gf play Jedi Fallen Order for a bit because she's barely played any videogames in her life and that's just such a waste tbh.

She's currently on a streak of five in solving the riddles/puzzles in ways that they're not supposed to be solved in and it's getting pretty impressive at this point because each time I'm just "there's no way that'll work🤨" and it just does? Like the majority of the riddles were during the second visit on zeffo in the crash site area and she'll just pull some crazy easier solution that's not supposed to work but it works.

So in honour of my gf I made a meme (I think that's my love language idk)

I got totk a week ago, played it for a few days (in which I got the sages, Yiga questlines and some other shit)and I really wanted to avoid doing the Chasms at first.

Then I found out about the chasm outfits, which I needed wanted to have. It was painful, I wasted so many arrows just shooting the brightbloom seeds into the unknown..

At some point I made the discovery that you can now throw shit. It's not told to you from what I could tell, apart from a singular shrine that teaches it to you. After that I gave up on weaponry and (with the help of some Yiga Kung Fu) fistfought and exploded all my enemies.

Throwing the brightbloom seeds made everything a whole lot easier and then- Lightroots are actually just at the same spot as shrines??? Lakes and Seas turn into unclimbable walls??? Mountains turn into deeper areas the higher they are???

Suffice to say, I don't really need that much light anymore in order to explore the chasms- I can just open the surface area mini map for the most part. Also, I'm super glad I avoided any spoilers or online tips like the pest, because it feels so much better to find it out for myself
